Another slumlord to be AVOIDED is Michelle McCall from Coventry Ct in River Ridge. She owns properties in New Orleans and I rented a place at 1440 Louisiana Ave. There were junk and garbage in the back when we rented it, there were mice everywhere (and she promised that the workman would plug the holes), improper wiring (shortages and very high energy bills), and kept portions of our security deposit. We asked her why she kept the security and she made excuses and gave no credible reasons. We agreed at the walk-through that when we returned the keys, she would return the rest of the security deposit. She lied! Another note: the neighbors next door didn't have a hot water heater for 9 months straight! They didn't complain because they didn't know English very well. Another slumlord of New Orleans!
